  • Richard has gained international experience working for some of the most respected names in golf.

  • Past Positions- Director of Instruction at The Olympic Club, Senior Instructor for the Butch Harmon School of Golf, Lead Coach for the Chinese Olympic Team and Director of Instruction for the St. Andrews Links Trust.

  • Certifications- PGA of Great Britain and PGA of America, Advanced Status in recognition of his work with the Chinese

  • Olympic Team.

Refund Policy

More than 90 days prior to beginning of camp Full Refund minus processing fees. 

Less than 60 days prior to beginning of camp No Refund. 

No refund. Exception: The participant has an injury or illness and can provide a note from their medical provider, as well as providing a signed statement from the parent or legal guardian confirming that this note is genuine and based upon the opinion of a medical professional. (If you are able to satisfy these 2 requirements then a partial refund will be issued minus the processing fees).

Do I need to bring my own clubs?

Yes

What should I wear to camp?

Golf attire, collared golf shirts and golf shorts, as well as comfortable golf or tennis shoes. Please remember to bring a water bottle.

Where do participants stay?

Participants will stay in student dorms on campus within walking distance of the Training Complex.

Where do participants have their meals?

Participants will eat at a combination of on-campus dining halls, catered meals at the practice facility and on-course box lunches.

What happens if I have any dietary restriction or food allergies?

No problem. We can accommodate all allergy and food restrictions as long as they are communicated ahead of time.

How are participants placed in on campus housing for the duration of camp?

Participants are organized by age and gender. Students will have an adult chaperone with them at all times in the dorms.

What does a typical camp day look like?

It is a combination of different skill stations taught by different coaches, on-course instructions, and sports training seminars.

Are parents and guardian allowed to watch the participants?

No. For the safety of our comp participants, the Camps do not allow spectators. Parents can meet with players and coaches during special meeting sessions.

If my son/daughter is staying overnight but we want to have dinner with them, would that be possible?

Yes. Dinners can be coordinated with the participants.

What is included in the Linen Package for Overnight Stays?

The linen package includes full bedding, pillows and towels.

Can parents play the golf course during camp?

For those parents with kids that are participating in the our camps, Stanford Golf Course is open to providing playing opportunities. during the Stanford camp.
